Dog news: Dream job pays £20 an hour to look at pictures of cute puppies | Nature | News
The raw dog food company ProDog Raw is looking for 10 people for the one-day study. It is investigating whether looking at puppy pictures can relieve stress. Each candidate will be paid £ 20 an hour for wearing a heart rate monitor and viewing pictures of dogs during the day, with the exception of hourly breaks to view a series of prepared dog pictures.
Heart rate data is collected and analyzed by a doctor to determine important results.
Participants do not need to have any underlying health conditions that could affect their heart rate, including high blood pressure or arrhythmia.
Ideally, applicants should have a desk job that does not involve manual work or activities that could increase their heart rate.
Individuals interested in participating must be between 18 and 60 years old, use social media, and have access to a device that allows them to use the internet.
