Through the Animal Welfare Trust Fund, residents can donate directly to animals cared for by Pinellas County Animal Services. This fund was established to facilitate the receipt of gifts, grants, and monetary awards from public or private donors that will be placed in a trust and used for the exclusive uses, welfare and benefit of pets in Pinellas County. The trust fund enables the care of a larger number of animals and provides support for special needs such as additional medication, specialty food and items for cats and dogs that the shelter may not otherwise be able to provide.
